OUR MISSION

We provide homeless and housing insecure youth with artistic and academic enrichment through educational programming, mentoring, materials, and support. Our annual juried art competition engages hundreds of young artists while raising awaremessabout this important need.

We offer CT youth the change to compete in an annual art competition for cash prizes and recognition by international award winnig artists.  The competition raises encourages young artists while enhancing awaremess of and funding for extra-curricular enrichment for the lowest income youth in Connecticut.

In elementary school we began working with children in a local homeless shelter on  art projects while parents attended classes for job placement or parenting.  Over time, we helped with homework and art enrichment.  When Covid-19 shuttered in person volunteering, we brought air purification units to all residential buildings. and developed a long term plan for art enrichment.
